Presenting the MINNIE MINI, inspired by my diminutive and oh so gorgeous friend of the same name.
A simple pull-on style with overlapping side splits that go all the way up to the waist, the MINNIE MINI takes only a few hours to make and under a metre of fabric. Worn low on the hip the skirt measures 30.5cm (12") from top to hem and the pattern is now available in Australian sizes 6-12 from our Etsy shop.
We made our MINNIE MINI in a medium weight printed cotton which we cut on the bias, the waistband is in a stretch twill; both fabrics were found at Tessuti in Melbourne.
